District Metals Secures Key Swedish Mineral Licenses

District Metals (TSE:DMX) has released an update.

District Metals Corp. has expanded its mining prospects with the acquisition of final approvals for eight additional mineral licenses in Sweden, targeting a range of valuable elements including vanadium, nickel, and rare earth elements. The licenses cover a vast 91,470 hectares, and the company has already consolidated the significant Viken Energy Metals Deposit, one of the largest in the world for uranium and vanadium resources. This development comes as the Swedish Government considers lifting the moratorium on uranium mining, which could further enhance the project’s potential.
