Discover Financial Services ( (DFS) ) has shared an update.
Discover Financial Services has announced that Hope D. Mehlman, the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, intends to resign for a new opportunity. She will remain in her role until the earlier of Discover’s merger with Capital One or November 29, 2024. The company has waived her obligation to repay her sign-on bonuses and will pay her a lump sum of $850,000 or $1,000,000 provided she doesn’t resign or get terminated for cause before her departure date.
