Diatreme Resources Limited (DRX) has increased its substantial holding in Metallica Minerals Limited (MLM) from 87.05% to 90.13% following an off-market takeover bid. This change occurred after DRX’s offer dated 11 April 2024, as detailed in its bidder’s statement, led to the acquisition of an additional 29,537,737 ordinary shares. The company now holds a significant majority of the voting power in MLM, cementing its position as a major shareholder.
