Diana Shipping (DSX) has released an update.
Diana Shipping Inc. has secured a new time charter contract for its Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel, m/v Astarte, with Paralos Shipping Pte., Ltd., starting August 18, 2024. The contract, at a daily rate of US$14,000 minus a 5% commission, will last until at least July 15, 2025, and could extend to September 15, 2025, expected to generate around US$4.58 million in gross revenue. This move is part of Diana Shipping’s ongoing fleet operations, which, post the sale of m/v Houston, will include 38 dry bulk vessels and expects to expand with new-building ships by 2028.
