Datang International Power Generation Co. has reported a 4.43% year-on-year increase in total on-grid power generation for the first half of 2024, reaching approximately 122.4 billion kWh. Notably, there was significant growth in hydropower and new energy sources, with hydropower generation increasing by 41.34% and photovoltaic power by 48.45%, despite a slight decrease in coal-fired and gas turbine generation. Concurrently, the average on-grid tariff dropped by 4.70%, with market-based electricity transactions making up approximately 85.74% of the total.
