Daqo New Energy Corp. has reported a first instance court verdict regarding a lawsuit filed by two plaintiffs against its subsidiary, Xinjiang Daqo, over a contract dispute. The court ordered Xinjiang Daqo to pay RMB3.16 million for rents and salaries, plus legal costs, while dismissing the plaintiffs’ claims for larger consequential losses. The case’s final impact is pending, as the appeal period is still open.
