Story Highlights

Critical Elements (TSE:CRE) has released an update.

The Office of Economic Security for Cree Hunters and 16 mining companies have jointly contributed $750,000 to aid the reconstruction efforts following the devastating 2023 wildfires in the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James region of Quebec. This initiative aims to rebuild destroyed camps, crucial for the Cree’s traditional hunting activities, and support the Cree Trappers Association in restoring the affected lands. The collaboration highlights the commitment to preserving the cultural and traditional practices of the Cree community.
