Costamare (CMRE) has released an update.
Costamare Inc. has successfully redeemed all its outstanding 8.875% Series E Cumulative Redeemable Perpetual Preferred Stock, amounting to 4,574,100 shares, for $25.00 per share plus accrued dividends as of July 15, 2024. The redemption was funded with cash on hand, and consequently, trading of the Series E Preferred Stock on the New York Stock Exchange has been suspended and will be delisted. Costamare, a major player in the shipping industry, operates a fleet of 68 containerships and 39 dry bulk vessels.
