COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co (HK:1919) has released an update.
COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co. has announced a major investment in eco-friendly shipping technology with the construction of twelve 14,000 TEU methanol dual-fuel container vessels, a project valued at US$2,154 million. The deal with Yangzhou Heavy Industry is both a discloseable and connected transaction, subject to shareholder approval as per Hong Kong Listing Rules. These state-of-the-art vessels, which highlight the company’s commitment to sustainability, are scheduled for delivery between May 2027 and March 2029.
