COSCO SHIPPING International (Singapore) Co. Ltd. is expanding its operations through a new joint venture with Eastern (1961) Holding Pte. Ltd., aiming to provide specialized container body repair, maintenance, and modification services in Singapore and potentially other Southeast Asian markets. The venture, named Cogent Eastern Precision Pte Ltd, will start with an initial share capital of S$500,000, with COSCO’s subsidiary Cogent holding a 60% majority stake. This strategic partnership highlights COSCO’s commitment to enhancing its service offerings and presence in the region.
