Corning Sees Board Changes and Strong Shareholder Engagement

Corning (GLW) has issued an announcement.

Richard T. Clark and Donald W. Blair have retired from Corning Incorporated’s Board of Directors, with Stephanie A. Burns taking over as Lead Independent Director. The company’s recent Annual Meeting showcased strong shareholder participation with over 87% quorum, where all 14 director nominees were elected and two key proposals were approved. These approvals include the executive compensation package and the ratification of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as independent auditors for the upcoming year.
