Copel Reports Strong Growth in Energy Consumption

Companhia Paranaense de Energia Pfd (ELP) has released an update.

Companhia Paranaense de Energia, known as Copel, has reported a robust 6.0% increase in electricity consumption in its distribution grid for the third quarter of 2024, driven by heightened economic activity and warmer temperatures. The growth also reflects a 4.4% rise in the billed grid market, which includes energy from Mini and Micro Distributed Generation.
