Conroy Gold and Natural Resources has announced promising results from its initial drilling at the Mountain Lodge base metal target in Northern Ireland, revealing significant zinc and lead mineralisation. The exploration, part of a larger 20km2 zinc zone, uncovered wide zones of low-grade mineralisation, with intersections of up to 30 meters at 0.42% combined zinc and lead, confirming the potential for base metal deposits in the region. The company plans to continue drilling to explore the extent of the mineralisation, which remains open for further discovery.
