Compass Group PLC has announced the buyback of 90,904 of its own shares on the London Stock Exchange as part of a larger $500 million share repurchase program. These shares, bought through broker J.P. Morgan Securities plc at prices ranging from £23.9000 to £24.0100, will be held in treasury primarily to fulfill employee share scheme obligations. The company’s total share buyback amounts to £196.7 million, marking the completion of its second and final stage of repurchases announced previously.
