Commercial Metals Company Announces Key Leadership Changes

The latest announcement is out from Commercial Metals Company (CMC).

Commercial Metals Company announced leadership transitions with Barbara R. Smith retiring as Executive Chairman, and Robert S. Wetherbee set to take over on September 1, 2024. Wetherbee, with vast experience from ATI, Inc. and other industry roles, is succeeded by Sarah E. Raiss who will remain on the board. Additionally, Vicki L. Avril-Groves will retire, and Tandra Perkins, with a strong background from Phillips 66 and KPMG, joins as a Class II director, reducing the board size to nine. Perkins, also serving on Chevron Phillips Chemical Company’s board, will receive standard non-employee director compensation and join the Compensation and Finance Committees.
