Comet Ridge Ltd has expanded its stake in the Mahalo Gas Hub by securing a new block, becoming the 100% equity Operator. This acquisition, which follows a recent $5 million grant from the Queensland Government, further strengthens the company’s strategic position in the Bowen Basin, with plans to contribute to the eastern Australia energy and manufacturing sectors. The company anticipates completing environmental and native title approvals in the coming months to proceed with the development.
