Colefax Group PLC reported a modest 2% increase in sales to £107.16 million for the year, despite a challenging market and a weak US Dollar impacting profits, which fell by 10% to £7.73 million. The Fabric Division faced a slight downturn, yet the Decorating Division saw a significant 42% hike in sales. The company remains optimistic, anticipating benefits from potential falling interest rates on housing market activity, while continuing to invest in their brand portfolio and distribution network.
