City of London Trust Buys Back Shares, Updates Voting Rights

City of London Investment Trust PLC (GB:CTY) has released an update.

The City of London Investment Trust PLC has announced a market purchase of its own shares, with 536,471 shares acquired at 422.5926p each to be held in Treasury. After this transaction, the company’s voting rights have been recalculated, now totaling 33,045,510 across various stock classes. This move follows the authority granted at the company’s Annual General Meeting on 31 October 2023.
