City of London Investment Trust PLC (GB:CTY) has released an update.

City of London Investment Trust PLC has announced the purchase of 28,278 of its own shares at 419.00p each, which are now held in Treasury. This buyback follows the authority granted at their last Annual General Meeting, and results in a total of 33,015,330 voting rights within the company. Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for shareholding notifications as per the FCA’s rules.
