China Life Insurance Company Limited has announced an update to its final dividend for the year ended December 31, 2023, setting the dividend at RMB 0.43 per share with a corresponding HKD value of 0.47127 per share based on the exchange rate. Shareholders have approved the dividend on June 27, 2024, with the ex-dividend date set for July 3, 2024, and the payment date on August 22, 2024. The company will apply a withholding tax rate of 10% for non-resident enterprise shareholders and for individual non-residents depending on their country’s tax treaty with China, while others will be taxed at 20%.
