China Construction Bank Declares Year-End Dividend

China Construction Bank (HK:0939) has released an update.

China Construction Bank Corporation has announced an ordinary final dividend of RMB 0.4 per share for the year ended December 31, 2023, with an exchange rate of RMB 1 to HKD 1.0959816927, resulting in HKD 0.43839268 per share for shareholders. The dividend is subject to a 10% withholding tax for non-resident enterprise and individual shareholders, with variations possible due to tax treaties, and a 20% tax for domestic investors through the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect. Shareholders must be on record by July 11, 2024, to receive the payment on August 2, 2024.
