China Coal Energy Co. successfully held its first extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of 2024, with shareholders passing all proposed resolutions by way of poll. The EGM, which saw 77.83% of total issued shares represented, included the election of independent non-executive directors Ms. Zhan Yanjing and Mr. James Kong Tin Wong. The meeting was conducted in accordance with the company’s Articles of Association and without any voting abstentions as per the company’s announcement.
