Chartwell Retirement Residences has expanded its portfolio by acquiring ownership interests in 12 properties, totaling 3,918 modern suites across Quebec, for a combined total of $677 million. The strategic move includes the recent purchase of two portfolios and an 85% stake in two residences, with a further acquisition in late-stage negotiations. To support these investments, Chartwell has also announced a $300 million bought deal offering of Trust Units.
