Champion Iron Ltd. has announced robust financial and operational results for the first quarter of FY2025, with a record 3.4 million dmt in iron ore sales and a striking increase in EBITDA to $181M, demonstrating a substantial year-on-year growth. Amidst operational challenges, including a preventive evacuation due to forest fires, the company successfully maintained production and advanced the DRPF project, which aligns with Canada’s critical mineral strategy and is slated to commission in the second half of 2025. This project is expected to contribute to greener steel production and may command higher premiums for Champion Iron’s products.
