Centrica (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica PLC has actively purchased 6,099,914 of its own shares as part of an ongoing buyback program, with the shares to be held in treasury. This recent acquisition, carried out through Goldman Sachs International, is part of a larger buyback initiative totaling over 26 million shares for a sum exceeding £32 million. The latest transaction has further increased Centrica’s treasury share holdings to 460,987,902 ordinary shares.
