Centrica PLC has continued its share buyback programme, acquiring 2,656,654 of its own shares on 11 October 2024, which will be held as treasury shares. The purchase is part of a series of buybacks that began on 8 August 2024, totaling over 62 million shares and costing nearly £74.2 million. Following this transaction, Centrica holds a substantial number of treasury shares and maintains over 5 billion shares in issue.
