Centrica has announced the purchase of 500,000 of its own shares at an average price of 130.13 pence each, as part of its ongoing buyback program initiated in August 2024. This move, executed through Goldman Sachs International, brings the total shares repurchased under the program to over 115 million, reflecting the company’s commitment to enhancing shareholder value.
