Centrica (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica PLC has reported purchasing 10,000 of its own ordinary shares on September 20, 2024, at a volume weighted average price of 117.4100 pence per share, as part of its buyback program initiated on August 8, 2024. Following this buyback, the energy company now holds over 451 million shares in treasury. This latest transaction is part of a series, with Centrica having acquired over 17.5 million shares at a total cost of around £21.8 million since the program’s announcement.
