Centrica PLC has announced the upcoming departure of Scott Wheway as Chair of the Board after a notable tenure, with Kevin O’Byrne set to take over the position from December 16, 2024. O’Byrne, who has been a part of the company’s board since May 2019 and has an extensive background in finance and retail, will be steering Centrica through its next phase of growth. The transition follows a thorough selection process and leaves the company poised to leverage its integrated business model for future opportunities.
