Centrica Advances Share Buyback Program

Centrica (GB:CNA) has released an update.

Centrica plc has continued its share buyback program, purchasing an additional 5,296,333 shares on October 14, 2024, which will be held as treasury shares. This latest transaction is part of a larger buyback initiative announced on August 8, where the company has acquired over 67 million shares at a cost of nearly £80.7 million. Following this purchase, Centrica now holds over 501 million shares in treasury out of over 5.15 billion shares issued.
