Centrica Advances Buyback Program, Acquires More Shares

Centrica (GB:CNA) has released an update.

Centrica plc continues to bolster shareholder value by purchasing an additional 241,546 of its own shares at a cost of 124.6500 pence per share, as part of an ongoing buyback program initiated on 8 August 2024. This latest acquisition brings the total number of shares bought back since the program’s inception to 11,635,483, costing nearly £14.8 million. Following this transaction, Centrica holds over 446 million shares in treasury and maintains a total issue of over 5.2 billion ordinary shares.
