Centrex Limited has announced a strategic collaboration with Lithium Australia to explore opportunities in the Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery market, leveraging the high-quality phosphate from its Ardmore Mine. The agreement includes plans to construct a demonstration plant, with the long-term vision of developing a commercial plant for LFP and LMFP cathode powders. This move positions Centrex to capitalize on the increasing demand for LFP batteries and diversify global supply chains away from the current dominance of China.
