Centamin PLC has announced the publication of a Scheme Document detailing the proposed acquisition of the company by AngloGold Ashanti PLC, which is expected to be completed in Q4 2024. The acquisition is subject to approval by Centamin shareholders, with meetings scheduled for October 28, 2024. Centamin’s Directors have unanimously recommended shareholders to vote in favor of the transaction, with key financial advisors considering the terms fair and reasonable.
