Cathay Pacific Airways Limited has announced the final redemption and cancellation of all its outstanding Preference Shares, amounting to 97,500,000 shares, for a total of approximately HK$9.977 billion, effective 31st July 2024. This move follows prior announcements and is part of the company’s financial strategy, which also includes the termination of Aviation 2020’s right to appoint board observers. The Board assures that this redemption will not adversely affect the Group’s financial health.
