Carnegie Clean Energy Ltd has reported a revenue boost of $117,616 from the sale of Large-Scale Generation Certificates (LGCs) generated by its Garden Island Microgrid, which supplies renewable energy to Australia’s largest naval base. The company’s 2MW solar battery energy system not only provides power to HMAS Stirling but also earns LGCs for every megawatt-hour of clean electricity produced, enhancing its revenue streams. These certificates play a key role in Australia’s Renewable Energy Target scheme, encouraging investment in renewable energy.
