Carbon Streaming (TSE:NETZ) has released an update.
Carbon Streaming has announced a pivotal collaboration with Rubicon Carbon, Ponterra, and Microsoft on the Azuero Reforestation Project, aiming to restore 10,000 hectares in Panama using over 75 native tree species. The initiative is set to generate 3.24 million carbon credits by 2052, with funding from the partners, while Microsoft agrees to purchase Carbon Streaming’s generated credits through 2040. This project aligns with multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals and is expected to offer consistent returns in line with Carbon Streaming’s targets.
