Caracal Gold PLC, an East African gold producer, has announced the resignation of PKF Littlejohn LLP as its auditors due to a management-imposed limitation that affected their ability to adjust financial statements and provide sufficient audit evidence. Following the resignation, Caracal has appointed RPG Crouch Chapman LLP as their new auditors, with the company’s chairman expressing confidence in addressing the issues raised and building a productive future with the new firm.
