Capricorn Energy PLC has announced the purchase and subsequent cancellation of 24,291 of its own ordinary shares through Merrill Lynch International, part of a share repurchase program initiated on May 4, 2023. This move has cost the company a total of £17,574,651 to date and leaves 71,681,804 shares in issue, a figure important for shareholders’ calculations concerning their stake in the company. No further share buybacks have been detailed, but the recent transactions underscore Capricorn’s active management of its share capital.
