Capricorn Energy PLC announced the recent purchase of 18,144 of its own shares for cancellation, as part of its ongoing share repurchase program, which to date has seen the company buy back 8,352,836 shares at a cost of £19,210,676. The buyback activity, executed through Merrill Lynch International, has resulted in a revised total of 70,885,902 ordinary shares in issue and equal voting rights. The company confirms that this action is in line with the previously disclosed arrangements and does not represent a new offer for securities.
