Capital Product (CPLP) has released an update.
Capital Product Partners L.P. is set to transform into Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp., a Marshall Islands corporation, with all partnership interests converting into common shares of the new entity. The conversion, backed unanimously by various boards and committees, will not affect the partnership’s prior obligations or liabilities and is seen as a continuation of the partnership’s existence. Shareholders should anticipate a seamless transition with their interests automatically converting into shares of the new corporation.
