Capital Metals plc has significantly reduced the initial capital expenditure for its Eastern Minerals Project in Sri Lanka by one-third to $20.9 million, aiming to fast-track production without compromising output. The company is actively engaging with potential financiers to fund the project, minimizing the need for market equity. With drilling activities resuming, Capital Metals anticipates increased resources and plans to make a final investment decision by mid-2025.
