Capita plc has successfully renewed its contract to manage the Royal Mail Statutory Pension Scheme for an additional six years, with a potential extension of two years, underscoring its robust relationship with the Cabinet Office. The deal, valued at £48 million, will enhance service quality for over 350,000 pension scheme members by transitioning to a unified platform that incorporates advanced digital capabilities. Since 2017, Capita has proficiently handled the scheme’s finance, accounting, pension payroll, and data management services.
