Canada Jetlines Reports Growth Amidst Losses

Canada Jetlines Operations Ltd. reported a significant growth in Q1 2024 with operating revenues hitting $11.5 million, a substantial increase from the previous year, alongside a 215% rise in flying hours. Despite the revenue boost, the company experienced a net loss of $6.4 million, which was attributed to the costs associated with expanding its fleet and operations. CEO Eddy Doyle expressed optimism for the future, highlighting new aircraft deliveries, wet lease agreements, and the introduction of a new route from Toronto to Miami.
