Calibre Mining has revised its 2024 gold production guidance with expectations for a strong fourth quarter, despite challenges from artisanal mining activities at the Volcan open pit in Nicaragua. The company remains on track with its Valentine Gold Mine project, which is fully funded and slated to begin production by Q2 2025. Construction progress at Valentine has surpassed 81% completion, despite some cost overruns due to contractor and material issues.
