Cadence Design Systems: Leadership Changes and Shareholder Decisions

An announcement from Cadence Design Systems (CDNS) is now available.

Cadence will experience a leadership transition as Neil Zaman steps down from his roles, transitioning to a Senior Advisor until May 2025, while Paul Scannell steps up as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations. Meanwhile, Cadence stockholders have given the green light to key proposals, including the restatement of the Employee Stock Purchase Plan, which now enables additional share issuance and more flexible administrative delegation. The annual meeting also saw the election of nine directors, approval of executive compensation, and the ratification of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the company’s independent auditor. However, a proposal concerning golden parachutes did not pass muster with the shareholders.
