C3is Inc., a maritime transportation service provider, has announced the purchase of the Eco Spitfire, a Handysize Bulk Carrier, from an affiliated company for $16.19 million. The Marshall Islands registered vessel, with a capacity of 33,664 dwt, is set to join C3is’s fleet, increasing the total capacity to 213,464 dwt. The acquisition strengthens C3is’s position in seaborne transportation by expanding its already diverse fleet.
