BWP Trust (AU:BWP) has released an update.
BWP Trust has reported an increased stake in Newmark Property REIT, with their voting power now standing at 91.98% following the acceptance of offers under an off-market takeover bid. This change in interest, notified on April 24, 2024, is due to Offer Acceptance Contracts allowing a swap of 0.4 fully paid BWP units for each Newmark ordinary security. Wesfarmers, associated with BWP, also saw a rise in relevant interest as a result of this strategic financial move.
