BW Energy Holdings Limited has acquired a 74.38% ownership stake in BW Energy, previously held by BW Group, as part of a larger corporate restructuring. This strategic move resulted in the BW Group’s shareholding in BW Energy dropping from 74.38% to zero, effectively exiting its investment at the book carrying value. The transaction involved the transfer of 191,903,110 shares and took place outside of a trading venue on June 20, 2024.
