Burgundy Diamond Mines Ltd (ASX:BDM) has announced the start of a significant drilling program at the Sable site, aimed at assessing the underground potential and extending the mine’s life. The program will feature up to 17 drillholes spanning approximately 5,865 meters to gather data for a prefeasibility study and resource update. With high expectations based on the successful reverse circulation drilling from the previous quarter, the company looks to confirm the quality of diamonds deeper within the ore body, potentially indicating a substantial expansion of the Ekati project.
