Burford Capital Limited, a prominent finance firm in the legal sector, has bought back 46,461 of its own shares on March 20, 2024, for a total cost of £5.0 million, as part of a share repurchase program to meet future obligations of its Deferred Compensation Plan. The shares were acquired through Numis Securities Limited with prices ranging from 1130 to 1170 GBp per share. Following this transaction, the total number of voting rights in Burford Capital is 218,874,564, excluding the shares held in treasury.
